In 1987 my mom’s best friend was a secretary at the police station and when I told her we were making a fanzine but didn’t have the money to print it she kindly offered to let me use the xerox machine at her work. I met her at a side door and snuck into her office after everyone else had left and ran off the first issue for free! In fact all three issues of volume one were printed at police station, thanks Lynn!
