Aside from being one of my favorite Hip Hop producers, I was fortunate to work with Madlib ( Otis Jackson Jr.) on a few projects, and was always in awe of his sheer work ethic. The guy never stops! And his expertise extends WAY outside of Hip Hop into Jazz, Brazilian, Rock, too many genres to name!
That's why I was pretty stoked to hear that he'd made a 'Reggae Classics' mix that got pressed on vinyl called 'Blunted in the Bomb Shelter' referring to the Stones Throw house's 'actual bomb shelter he'd work out of. Here's the results!
